Resumé Writing

The job search process has become increasingly competitive in recent years. A resumé is often the deciding factor as to whether an applicant will receive an interview. Schedule an appointment with the Career Placement Coordinator to get a personalized review of your resumé and cover letter. Whether you are writing your first resumé or want a fresh perspective, we are here to help.

Job Searching

ASU-Beebe has partnered with Handshake, the nation’s #1 job platform for students. For your convenience, we create a Handshake profile for all students. You can search and apply for jobs and internships, participate in virtual and in-person career events, and discover networking opportunities.

Handshake is just the beginning. We also partner with area businesses that seek out our students for jobs and internships. Contact us for more information.

Employer Partners

We love partnering with employers! Please get in touch with us if you are an area business or organization and want to recruit our students for jobs and internships. Additionally, we welcome on-campus recruitment events, presentations, and more! Employers are encouraged to use Handshake to submit job postings. Please refer to the Handshake Help Center or contact us for assistance with posting jobs.

Interview Preparation

Are you stressed about an upcoming job interview? Do you feel ready? Effective interview preparation helps highlight you as the best person for the job. Schedule an appointment with the Career Placement Coordinator to discuss etiquette, appropriate dress, mock interview questions, and more. You can also check out our Mock Interview Form. The link below provides common job interview questions, with examples of potential answers about you, your work history and experience, your goals, and more.

Career Fair Attendance

The Student Success Center hosts a bi-annual Spring Career Fair (odd number years) for students, alums and community members. Dozens of employers are hiring for full-time, part-time, internship and contract positions. Attendees are encouraged to check out our Tips for Career Fair Success for information on how best to prepare.
