Community Education Class Schedule

Beebe Classes

Our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) class is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts. It teaches participants how to read, create, and analyze digital maps for activities like hiking, camping, and backcountry navigation. Students learn to use GPS data, interpret topographic features, and plan safe, efficient routes using mobile mapping tools.

"Drones and How to Comply" is an instructional training course or guide that teaches drone operators how to navigate complex federal regulations. It covers essential legal requirements like FAA registration, Remote ID mandates, and Part 107 commercial certification rules.

Our GPS Fundamentals Class is for outdoors Individuals, farmers and general public. We will cover practical satellite navigation skills for everyday use, property mapping, and wilderness wayfinding. Students learn how to operate handheld receivers, plot coordinates, and apply location technology safely across different outdoor and rural environments.

"Spray drones – Will they work for me?" 

This class will help farmers and landowners decide if agricultural drones fit their crop care needs. It covers equipment costs, operational rules, and practical benefits for spraying fields.

The Public Policy Center and the Cleburne County Cooperative Extension Service helps Arkansans better understand the financial, social or policy implications of a proposed law by publishing research-based fact sheets and by offering educational programs at the county level. Our goals are to increase voter participation and help Arkansans feel confident in their vote. We will discuss the current issues that will be on the ballot this year. The goal is to educate voters with non biased information so that if they vote "yes" or "no" on an issue, they know how they are voting e.g. (What does a "yes" vote mean vs. a "no" vote).
