Meal Plans
Regardless of where you live, ASU-Beebe offers a variety of dining options to accommodate your needs. The plans available are based on a combination of the number of prepaid meals and/or amount of declining balance (“Blue Bucks”) loaded on an individual’s VanCard (ID card). Blue Bucks dollars work on the same principle as bank debit cards. Each time you make a food purchase with your VanCard, the total cost of your food purchase is subtracted from the dollar balance in your account. Blue Bucks dollars carry over from the fall to the spring semester.
Current options include:
- 17-Meal Residential Meal Plan: The cost is $1,675 per semester. This includes access to 17 meals per week and $75 of Blue Bucks dollars. This plan is accessible at any ASU-Beebe food service location (Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy campuses). Meals expire at the end of each semester; Blue Bucks expire on June 30 each year.
- $150 Commuter Block Plan: The cost is $150 per lock. This includes pre-paying for $150 that can be redeemed at any dining hall (Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy campuses) and the Blue Brew Shop in the Owen Center. Blue Bucks expire on June 30 each year. This is a great option to convert available Financial Aid to Blue Bucks.
- 10-Meal Block Plan: The cost is $68 per 10-meal block. This includes 10 meals that can be redeemed at any dining hall (Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy campuses). This plan is not accessible at the Blue Brew Shop in the Owen Center. Meals do not expire. This is a great option to convert available Financial Aid to meals.
