Angela (Angie) Stroud has been named the development officer for the Office of Institutional Advancement at Arkansas State University-Beebe.
With more than 25 years of experience as a fundraising professional in grant writing, donor relations and major gift development, Stroud will support ASU-Beebe’s fundraising and engagement efforts.
Stroud is returning to her hometown of Beebe to serve in this role, bringing strong community ties and a passion for philanthropy. She most recently served as director of development for the Methodist Family Health Foundation and has held leadership positions with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Youth Home Inc. and the Arkansas Arts Center. She has successfully raised millions of dollars for scholarships, capital projects and nonprofit initiatives, focusing on community-driven fundraising and relationship-building.
Her connection to ASU-Beebe is personal, as her grandmother was a history professor at the college, sparking a lifelong appreciation for education. Stroud looks forward to using her skills and experience to advance ASU-Beebe’s development initiatives, engage with donors and strengthen community partnerships.
"Building relationships and encouraging generosity is more than a career—it's my mission," Stroud said. "I believe in the power of philanthropy to transform lives, strengthen communities and create opportunities for future generations. I’m thrilled to return to Beebe and contribute to the growth of ASU-Beebe."
As development officer, Stroud will focus on securing financial support, expanding donor outreach and leading fundraising initiatives that will enhance opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Her leadership will play a key role in ensuring continued support for scholarships, academic programs and institutional growth.
