The Arkansas State University-Beebe 2024 Harvest Fest royalty was crowned at the annual Harvest Fest event on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Dr. Eugene McKay Student Center.
Julia Releford and Taylor Twisdale were announced as this year's Harvest Queen and Harvest King. Releford, a freshman liberal arts and sciences major from Jacksonville, represented the Black Excellence Association student organization. Twisdale, a sophomore business major from Cabot, represented the TRIO Leadership Council student organization.
Releford and Twisdale were selected by the student body from a pool of candidates nominated by ASU-Beebe student organizations.
The Harvest Fest court included Brooklynne Clark, a sophomore medical lab technology major from Searcy, represented the Residence Hall Association; Kenneth Griffin, a freshman computer systems and networking technology major from Atlanta, Georgia, represented the Black Excellence Association; Austin Guyot, a freshman agricultural business major from Austin, represented the Agriculture Club; Madison Harris, a freshman liberal arts and sciences major from Searcy, represented the Educators Rising; Tea Henson, a sophomore biology major from Beebe, represented Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society; Landon “Jo” Holliman, a sophomore heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration major from Greers Ferry, represented the Residence Hall Association; Hailey Stephens, a sophomore business major from Floyd, represented the TRIO Leadership Council; and Charla Weatherley, a freshman agriculture business major from Cabot, represented the Agriculture Club.
The event has been an ASU-Beebe tradition for over 70 years and was sponsored by the Student Life and the Student Government Association.
